Land Available
Laois County Council through its County Development Plan aims to protect existing industry and enterprises and encourage the development of new industry and enterprise in appropriate locations, by directing large-scale and labour intensive developments to either appropriately zoned industrial, business or enterprise areas such as the Togher National Enterprise Centre (encompassing Clonminam Business Park, the IDA Business and Technology Park and additional lands), Kea Lew Business Park, Portarlington & Portlaoise Enterprise Centres or to appropriately and serviced zoned lands.
The BSU is committed to working with entrepreneurs to help establish their businesses and create jobs in County Laois. Simply put, we are here to help. As part of this, there are a significant number of commercial, retail and industrial sites available, both greenfield and developed, where the BSU can support enterprise.
