Designed by noted architect James Gandon in 1790 for the Earls of Portarlington, Emo Court House is a magnificent example of the neo-classical style. One of the most prestigious houses of all time, Emo Court, Co. Laois was handed over to the state 25 year ago. Now a team of restoration experts at tasked with bringing this palatial mansion back to its former glory.
